What is Psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a therapeutic practice where through assessment using various tools, and formulating the change required to help someone through this process create lasting and profound change through therapeutic techniques that will be long lasting and profound.

It is initially a way to identify the problem or problems and then through therapy create a change through re-education, hypnosis, using a variety of other techniques to help the person transform and re- emerge stronger and more resourceful.

Certification

According to the Regulated Health Professions Act and the Ministry of Health and Long Term care Registered Nurses who are licensed to practice Nursing by the College of Nurses of Ontario can practice Psychotherapy as an RN.
